Ken Binnie Financial Ltd
Senior Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management
After a brief spell studying Accountancy, I commenced work with the Royal Bank of Scotland in 1976. I joined Prudential as a Financial Consultant in 1985 and spent the next 12 years with them, mostly as a Sales Manager. In 1997 I left Prudential to join up with Ken Binnie Financial as a self-employed Independent Financial Adviser. From 2011 until now, Ken Binnie Financial has been very successfully attached to St. James’s Place Wealth Management, where I have been working as a self-employed Financial Adviser.
I run the Stranraer end of the business and have my own office on the main street in the town. I am married to Gail and have two children, Mark, who is 20 and at university in Edinburgh and Robyn who is 11 and in her last year of primary school in Stranraer. My hobbies include golf, tennis, coaching table tennis and most of all following Scottish rugby, a sport I played for 29 years.
